After getting five cuts on Cledus T. Judd's first CD, "I Stoled This Record," Chris scored again with six cuts on Cledus' next album, "Did I Shave My Back For This?" which Chris co-produced. Here we see Chris in a still from the video of that song, filmed in L.A.

Continuing to co-produce with Cledus, Chris contributed six cuts on "Juddmental." Their single, "Everybody's Free To Get Sunburned" climbed to #20 on Billboard's Country Single Sales chart. Their next album together, "Just Another Day In Parodies," their first Sony Monument release, included Chris' co-writing on virtually all cuts. It enjoyed significant chart action and yeilded great single sales for "My Cellmate Thinks I'm Sexy." They continue to work on new albums and projects, including a second Sony Monument album due for release in spring 2002, as well as a feature-length movie with Academy-Award winner Robb Royer, "Hip-Hop-motized."

Chris, who was born in Yorktown,Virginia, started playing guitar when he was 13. Later he took up mandolin., and "noodles" on several other instruments, including piano. He began songwriting at 13, attenden Berklee School of Music in Boston and graduated from Nashville's Belmont School Of Music in 1996, majoring in Arranging. While still a student, he entered the Song Spree Songwriting Competition (run by Lyndy Gitter back then) and won it, with one of the highest scores ever given by judges of that contest.

Realizing she had "discovered" an incredible songwriting
talent, Lyndy took his music immediatley to Fagan and
Tom Oteri....and Chris was signed to OF Music in 1996.
Not long afterwards, Chris was performing with Fagan at
such places as Nashville's famed Bluebird Cafe amd Cafe

Since then he has co-written not only with Fagan, but
Micheal Smotherman, Larry Alderman, Joe Collins,
Robb Royer, Chris Cagle, Clay Davidson, Michael White,
